Terms of Service for the Energy System Design Program
As advocates for energy independence, we are committed to helping homeowners and businesses reduce their electrical utility bills and make confident, informed decisions about renewable energy. With well over 60 years of combined experience in energy conservation and generation, our team of licensed engineers operates from a technology and vendor neutral position. This allows us to provide unbiased recommendations focused solely on what is best for your home or business.
The Energy System Design Program (ESDP) is our comprehensive solar and battery system design and project management service. ESDP provides the engineering expertise, analysis, and oversight required to ensure your future renewable energy system is designed correctly from the start.
When you purchase an ESSP Gold Membership, the full ESDP service is included at no additional cost. Gold Members receive all ESDP service benefits along with the broader support features of the ESSP Gold plan.
What the ESDP service provides:
A comprehensive evaluation of your home or business to establish your current and future energy consumption profile - your “energy footprint”
A custom engineered solar and battery system design created using industry best practices and tailored to your site‑specific requirements
Recommendations for technologies, products, and services that maximize energy savings and long‑term performance
A professional review of up to three previously received solar proposals, evaluating their accuracy, completeness, and alignment with your true energy footprint
Competitive bidding from our highly rated, vetted local installers matched to your project’s specific requirements to provide an optimized quote for your review
Project management oversight throughout, ensuring your system is installed correctly, safely, and in alignment with the engineered design
Designing and engineering a solar and battery solution that truly fits your home is not a plug‑and‑play task. It requires a certified expert to evaluate dozens of variables — roofline, sun exposure, energy use patterns, backup needs, and future goals. Our certified designer typically invests 15 to 20 hours engineering a system tailored to your needs. While this level of expertise often exceeds $200/hour and is commonly rolled into project costs, ESSP Gold Members receive these services at no additional charge.
Membership Fee and Value (For ESSP Gold Members)
Your annual ESSP Gold Membership fee of $294 includes the full ESDP design and project management services, along with many additional Gold‑level membership features and benefits. If you choose to install your system with another company, your membership remains active for the full year, giving you continued access to ESSP Gold benefits and support for your home’s other energy systems. And because your system is newly installed, you will not require the additional Orphaned Solar and Battery System Operational Verification and Professional Care option.
Let’s build it right from the start - because energy independence begins with a solid design and a trusted partner.
By completing your ESSP Gold Membership purchase, you acknowledge that you have read, understand, and accept the above ESDP Terms of Service.
Thank you for choosing Your Energy Pros. Our team looks forward to supporting your energy independence journey.
